Event # 1

We are having our first Dental Club meeting, of the spring semester, this Thursday, February 9th. It is to take place at the VCU student commons , in the Richmond Salon III, from 7:00-8:30pm (although it will probably not last the entire time). If you cannot make it on time don't worry just show up when you can. Food drinks, and brush-ups are provided! Hope to see you there!
 

Event # 2

Orientations will take place for those applying to start dental school in fall 2007 in the VCU Student Commons Nov. 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. and on Feb. 9 from 10 a.m. to noon. Both take place in Virginia Room A.

Orientations (attendance to at lease one) are mandatory for those who wish to participate in the pre-health advisory committee process.

Detailed information on the Fall 2007 application process to dental school is now posted on our pre-health website at the link below. The website includes a very helpful "on-track" guideline for applying to dental school (It tells you exactly where you should stand and what you should be doing/thinking about for getting into dental school):

We also have scheduled a workshop on how to write an effective personal statement for 11/18 @ 12:30pm in Virginia Room D of the Commons. I would strongly encourage everyone to attend
