Greetings,
On behalf of the chapter I would like to welcome you to the homepage of the ''Oh so Pretty'' Theta Rho Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. The Theta Rho chapter was charted on April 21, 1974 on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Since then, our chapter has always strived to excel in academics and to be role models for our fellow VCU student body. We have also made it our goal to encourage students from all walks of life to become involved with on-campus activities, and help us to build the VCU community. From our annual fashion show to breast cancer awareness, street clean ups to the influential speakers, our chapter has brought essential and exciting programs, as well as made many contributions to the Richmond area through our continued volunteer work. Over the years we have won step shows, including the annual Fall Block Step Show. More recently, we celebrated our centennial year, and we are still striving for commitment to service with 102 years behind us.

This year, we are looking forward to putting on exciting programs of substance, performing service projects that reach out to all of mankind, and being involved in social activities that will help us connect the other various student organizations on campus.
