Hello and welcome to the homepage of the ''oh so pretty'' Theta Rho Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

The Theta Rho chapter was charted on April 21st 1974 on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond Virginia. Since then, our chapter has always strived for high academics and set high standards for the VCU community. We challenge all of VCU, especially the incoming students, to be engaged in campus activities and to help build the VCU community, while excelling academically.

From a black history fashion show to breast cancer awareness, from street clean ups to influential speakers our chapter has brought essential and exciting programs, as well as volunteered in the Richmond area. We have won step shows, including the annual Fall Block Step Show, and celebrated our centennial year.

This year, we are looking forward to putting on more great programs, performing service projects, and being involved in social activities.
