These are our boys (and girls). They are all good people to have in the eddy when you get in a sticky situation. We trust them all to hold the throwbags.

 

coastal canoeists Coastals is a family-oriented club dedicated to the enjoyment and advancement of paddlesports and consists of canoeists, kayakers and others from the southeastern U.S., but primarily from Virginia. Activities of the club include an active club volunteer-coordinated trip roster with trips for members, at all skill levels, happening nearly every weekend of the year.

Corn Youth Alliance. We see these guys at the Richmond put-ins and take-outs all the time. A great group of paddlers who we would claim as our own if they went to VCU. You guys can still sign up for fall semester.

 

epicocity project Epicocity is about capturing the moment, celebrating it, and inspiring others to experience these things themselves.

Brits who paddle with us in Norway. Joey got some fantastic shots of them in Skjåk. They just put out the video 'Chaos Theory'.

Water = Fun
The Richmond Whitewater Club formed to bring together whitewater boating enthusiasts of all types. The purpose of Richmond Whitewater Club is to give everyone opportunities to increase the awareness of Richmond whitewater as well as helping others enjoy, understand, and appreciate the joy of paddling.

Team WAV is lucky enough to have 2 professional photographers in their ranks. Both are products of VCU's nationally ranked art school and one actually has a website. Joey is the eye behind the calendar and many of the other shots you see on this site. Check him out.
