Queer Action

Greetings,

My name is Jeremy Kidd and I am the President of Queer Action, an
organization promoting LGBT political and legal activism at VCU. I am
writing to inform you of an upcoming event which we are sponsoring
that your group may be interested in.

On Thursday, October 7, 2004 at 8PM in Virginia Room A of the
University Student Commons, Queer Action will be sponsoring a
political discussion on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT)
politics. We will have representatives on hand from both the Virginia
Partisans (LGBT Democrats) and the Log Cabin Republicans as well as
possibly the Libertarian Party. These individuals will be discussing
various issues that will affect LGBT people and their straight allies.
There will also be time for a Question and Answer session after the
presentations. Finally, all are welcome at this event regardless of
their sexual orientation.
