The VCU campuses incorporate state-of-the-art research facilities and capabilities. The university offers quality graduate educational programs that meet the many needs of the state, the nation and, indeed, the world. As one of the major urban research universities in the United States, more than 5,400 graduate students are enrolled in over 135 degree programs at VCU. Many of these graduate programs are ranked among the very best in the nation. The GSA has taken great pride in being able to offer students the support they need to make it through graduate school by offering workshops, the Symposium to showcase their research and work, and offering social events for students to interact with graduate students from other disciplines. The Graduate School hopes that you will take an active part in the GSA and the GSA events that are offered to you.
