Mission

     Free Palestine Now! is a non-violent organization dedicated to helping the brave Palestinian people in there quest for freedom and justice.  FPN was founded in the winter of 2002 by two VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) students in Richmond, Virginia.  We are unique in the fact that one of the two founders of the organization is Jewish and that we proudly boast Palestinians, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Atheists and Arabs as members.  We, as an organization, flatly reject any and all forms of racism and anti-Semitism and strive to create a multi-cultural student organization based upon the common goal of liberating the oppressed Palestinian people from Israeli terror.

     Since 2002, FPN has sponsored video showings, debates, and speakers as well as worked with other Richmond area activist organizations to mobilize people for protests, rallies, and other forms of activism.  In addition to these activities, members of FPN have participated in direct actions all over the east coast including the dropping of banners in Washington DC (To protest Ariel Sharon's visits) and Richmond VA. 

In the Spring of 2003 the second ever chapter of Free Palestine Now! was formed at Mary Washington College (MWC) in Fredericksburg VA.

    Free Palestine Now! reaffirms its condemnation of anti-Semitism in all forms.  We emphatically reject those anti-Semitic parasites that seek to highjack the Palestinian solidarity movement (one of the most religiously and racially diverse political movements in the US presently) to promote their sick Jew hating agenda.  This condemnation not only goes to the open Neo-Nazis but equally to the closet anti-Semitic Zionist Occupied Government (ZOG) movement. The ZOG movement falsely maintains that US support of Israel is a result of Jewish sneaky control over the US government.  This is nothing more then the centuries old bogus stereotype that the there is a Jewish conspiracy to control the world.  This analysis on the part of the ZOG movement is exemplified in their false reasoning behind why the US supports Israel, which to them is because of the “Jewish controlled media” and the “Jewish controlled economy.”  We give specific condemnation to their signs which have the Star of David in place of the stars of the fifty states in the American flag. This opportunism on the part of the anti-Semites goes against Free Palestine Now!'s reasoning behind its fight for freedom and justice for Palestinians, which is incorporated in our principles of full racial and religious equality for all.  Free Palestine Now! will not except any type of anti-Semitism within its ranks and will fight anti-Semitism in general.
