EMSA members have the opportunity
to experience first hand what it means to be an emergency
medicine physician by shadowing physicians in the Department
of Emergency Medicine at MCV. See what it is like to
treat medical and trauma patients, and learn how the emergency
room team works together to save lives. |

Experience what it is like to treat
patients in the pre-hospital setting with local emergency
medical service agencies. From the scene of an auto accident
or in the home of a person having a heart attack, you will
learn from EMTs and Paramedics what it is like to practice
emergency medicine on the streets of Richmond. |
