Rams fight hard, but
fall 10-0 to Phoenix in Game 1

The VCU Rams Club Baseball team opened its inaugural season Saturday with
a scheduled doubleheader against the Elon University Phoenix. VCU fought
hard, and a 6 run 3rd inning did the Rams in as they fell 10-0.
VCU sent a single batter to
the plate in the top of the first inning of the second game before rain
and lightening forced the umpires to call off the game.
