John T. Conover, Jr.
Namesake: John T. Conover, Jr.

Brother John Jr., pledged the Zeta Beta Chapter at Virginia Tech in the Fall of 1987. He transferred to Virginia Commonwealth University in 1993, where he decided that VCU needed a chapter of AFW. So he helped charter one! At VCU, he served as Interest Group President (1993-94) and Vice President of Service at the time of chartering, in the Fall of 1994. He was one of the chapter's first recipients of the Chapter Distinguished Service Key (CDSK), on November 19, 1994. One of John's favorite service projects has always been the blood drive, whether donating whole blood, apheresis, or whatever!
