Welcome to Your AAGA Website

The African American Graduate Association (AAGA) was established in 2002 to promote fellowship, scholarship, and professional development for African-American graduate students attending Virginia Commonwealth University. We also strive to enhance the pursuit of academic excellence throughout the VCU community. We are willing to collaborate with individuals and groups who share our vision and goals.

Our purpose is to provide a support network for African-American undergraduate and graduate students and to promote cultural enrichment at VCU and the community at large.

 The AAGA does not discriminate or limit its membership to any individual or group based on race, creed, color, nationality, ability or sexual preference.
